Be Some Buddy….Kids Awarded For Adopting A Cool Green Attitude!

First of all, who’s Buddy? Well, he started life as an organic cotton bud, but nowadays he’s the iconic character that you’ll see when you go to coolgreenattitude.com, and he symbolises what’s great about having a positive attitude towards the planet.

Buddy’s mad about recycling, reducing and reusing everything that we can to make the world a better and healthier world for everyone to live in. Like any serious campaigner, Buddy is always on the lookout for other like-minded ‘green’ buddies (you don’t actually have to be green, just have the right attitude!) to help him make an even bigger difference to the environment.

Even a very small change that one child makes in one city or village could eventually become known and talked about in countries that are thousands of miles from where you live, thanks to computers and the whole amazing worldwide web.

So we’re looking for stories about kids like you or yours that under the age of 16, that are helping to make life better for our environment, our wildlife and, let’s face it, ourselves! We’re asking parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles or other family members to nominate a child for a Cool Green Attitude Award, and then we can do our bit to recognise and celebrate that child’s efforts and achievements.

Maybe your parents have encouraged you to do something amazing like grow your own vegetables, or you’ve decided to swap toys with other kids, rather than always buying new? We really want you to think out of the box (recycled, of course!), so even if it’s as simple as a child showing their cool, kind behaviour towards others, we really want to hear about it.

Write in by email to julie@coolgreenattitude.com and tell us the whole story (with parents’ permission, please), and you could be one of the proud winners of a Cool Green Attitude Award Certificate - plus an eco-friendly Buddy Bookmark and a Buddy’s organic logo cotton t-shirt. So-o-o cool!
