Become A Nature Volunteer This Spring & Help British Wildlife
February 18th, 2010As spring slowly approaches the Woodland Trust are looking for volunteers to help record sightings of native flowers, plants and animals in their local area.
The scheme called ‘Nature’s Calendar’ relies on the public to record and view seasonal events that show the impact of climate change on British wildlife. You may be asked to note the first swallow or snowdrop you see or to look out for bluebells in your local wood so they can gather a nationwide picture of the U.K’s flora and fauna. You can register online today and get your free starter pack on the weblink below.
So why not take a walk in your local wood and look out for spring sightings today!
