Fieldfare Organic and Natural
June 15th, 2007Fieldfare Organic and Natural is a small, friendly family business that was created back in 1993; and we have grown steadily ever since – providing everything organic for our customers in Herts, Beds and Bucks, and most of London. We are Soil Association registered and wherever possible we support the UK producers, buying direct from the farms each week.
Why do people buy organic?
People who buy organic may do so for a variety of reasons – health concerns, environmental issues, ethical trading – or, more probably, a combination of all of these. Organic food is higher in nutrients, having been allowed to grow and ripen naturally, which benefits everybody – and it tastes better! Organic food is produced without any chemicals so no herbicides, pesticides or other unnatural additives. Livestock, likewise, is not treated routinely with steroids or antibiotics, and the animals are allowed to range freely and grow naturally.
Our extensive range of products means that we can supply everything your family needs on a weekly basis: from farm fresh produce, bakery, dairy, a huge range of wholefoods, household products, fresh meat and poultry, sea caught fresh fish – everything. All this can be delivered to your door; no shopping, no queues – no hassle! All deliveries are in our own vans with a regular driver for each round – so if you want your order left in the Wendy house (yes, we do at one address!), or under the hedge we will make sure this is done. Our entire catalogue is available on-line, with a shopping cart for you to shop easily and quickly via the web, but if you are more inclined to human contact, our team in the office will be delighted to assist you, answer any questions you may have and take your order. The website will give you further information, and carries our weekly newsletter and fresh produce price list - www.fieldfare-organics.com or call us on 0845 601 3240
