Green People: An Organic Alternative for Sensitive Souls & Ethical Minds
August 27th, 2007“Your skin is born natural so trust Green People to help you keep it that way” says Charlotte Vøhtz, pioneer of Organic Beauty. Charlotte founded Green People as a direct response to her daughter Sandra’s allergies and sensitivities. Concerned that the products she was putting on her skin were exacerbating the problem she decided to take action and develop a natural alternative for Sandra and the millions of other children suffering from eczema and severe allergies, drawing on her nursing background, her knowledge of herbal medicine and more than 11 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
Intensive product development took place from December 1995 to April 1997. The Green People Company Ltd. launched their first organic health and beauty products into UK health stores in August 1997; this has grown to include a thriving mail order division. Today there are in excess of 100 products across many different ranges and the in-depth research continues. This includes bestselling skin care lines using 100% gentle, natural ingredients, scented with gorgeous essential oils. Hair care lines that work naturally to restore hair to its former glory. Dedicated Men’s, Children’s and Baby ranges using the mildest formulations for sensitive skins and Sun Care ranges offering broad spectrum protection without the need for chemicals.
The newest addition to the company is Organic Body Spa a luxurious home spa collection of certified organic products including skin, hair and body care lines. The skin care range uses active ingredients of Cranberry, Rosehip and Pomegranate which have proven benefits for a radiant & youthful complexion. Fabulous hair care products create ultimate bounce and shine using only the finest natural ingredients. To this day Charlotte and her team strive to make Organic products accessible to everyone and work with a mission “to promote an organic lifestyle and provide high quality, truly organic, natural health and home care formulations to all.”
