Whether it is a special occasion such as a hen party, birthday party, children’s party, social group, school or college Tigerlily Makes is the place to be. Come and have a magical hen weekend in the Cathedral City of Lichfield and take part in a fun and creative felt-making day. Create one off unique accessories and home furnishings with full confidence that you will go home at the end of the day with something to be proud of. Tigerlily Makes mission is to source and provide ethical and environmentally sustainable supplies from right here in the UK wherever possible, keeping in mind the cost to the felt-maker. Merino wool is sourced from ethical farmers in African and then shipped by boat to the UK in its raw form, it is then washed carded and coloured. Water from dying is continually recycled to make the process much easier on the environment. Tigerlily Makes is passionate about supporting UK breeders and therefore uses and stocks breeds such as Blue Face Leicester, Black Welsh, Grey Swaledale, Suffolk and many more. Ethical products are also used during felt-making, both in the handmade items and during the process on our courses. We source locally produced handmade soaps that are made without chemicals and via the cold compress methods.
