Green Policies
More Than Gifts was established in 2004 and our name was chosen with care to signify that customers are purchasing more than gifts - they are also helping to promote and support fair trading for skilled crafts-people in those countries and provide them with the means to tackle the longer-term problems faced by developing countries.
We are also pleased to purchase wooden gifts from a company that supports the work of Medecins Sans Frontieres which provides medical aid in more than 75 countries around the world.
More Than Gifts actively sponsors children from the Third World through the World Vision Child Sponsorship Scheme which we are delighted to support and promote. We are also aware of environmental issues around the world and try to encourage suppliers to use production methods that will have the minimum effect on the environment by using recycled or sustainable materials when possible.
