Why not get out and about and visit one of the many green events that are being held up and down the country this year.
We will be having GreenFinder stalls at many green events and eco exhibitions throughout the year so the public can learn more about sustainability and green living. Easy ways to green your lifestyle, 11am - opening by Brigit Strawbridge star of BBC series ‘Its Not Easy Being Green’ 4pm - Guest Speaker Satish Kumar- ecologist, writer and ‘Earth Pilgrim’ as seen on BBC TV. Stalls include: solar and wind generators, insulation, electric cars, bikes, carbon footprinting, composting, live music, bar, real food, films, childrens activities and lots more…

- A Greener Taste of Devon (Trade Event)

Devon County Council is hosting a FREE trade exhibition at RHS Garden Rosemoor, Great Torrington on Wednesday 10th September from 11am – 4pm, bringing together green energy suppliers, renewable technologies, resource efficiency experts, waste and eco-packaging specialists, Devon food and drink producers, Devon hospitality businesses including hoteliers, B&B’s, restaurants and shops.

This year the Green Festival’s theme is climate change. The programme includes walks, talks, workshops and tours, and incorporates the Green Fair. For youngsters, the Festival offers fun family activities and schools workshops. A Green Fair will take place on Sunday 24th August in the town square.

The Broads Green Boat Show is the only boat show dedicated to sustainable boating and green energy. The aim of the Show is to encourage ‘low carbon’ propulsion for boats - rowing, paddling, pedalling, sailing, electric and biofuel-powered - as well as to promote other aspects of environmentally-friendly design and construction
