Tristan Titeux started Custom Carpentry in 2003 and in 2011 decided to follow his heart and bring out an Eco option for his customers.
Green Policies
My mission is to ensure that all fitted furniture will be sustainable in the future.
We have been using green electricity since 2003, in our office we reuse paper, envelopes and recycle and shred paper to use as bedding for our chickens!
We plant a tree for every customer that takes the eco option and we buy an acre of the rainforest for every eco job over £5000.
We actively promote and educate people about eco friendly materials on social media YouTube, this includes an eco materials series of videos that talks about the eco aspects of materials.
We use alternative materials that pollute less or not at all such as straw, hemp, reyelced plastic and glass, FSC wood from the UK, Medite Ecologique wood, petro chemical free paints and finishes made from plant based materials.
A big part of sustainable furniture is design too, not just materials.
