WISE Weddings that Don’t Cost the Earth
The Centre for Alternative Technology is proud to announce that it is now open for civil ceremony and wedding bookings. Thanks to the outstanding facilities offered by the award-winning WISE building it is able to offer ethical, green weddings. Situated in the stunning Dulas valley in mid-Wales, WISE is a superb wedding venue. Its outstanding cylindrical theatre with seven-metre high rammed-earth walls is ideal for ceremonies. The outdoor forest garden is an ideal setting for a champagne reception and the restaurant and bar are perfect for the wedding breakfast and dancing the night away.

If the words that best describe the vision you have for your wedding day are – Rural, Romantic and Relaxed – then Swallowtail Hill might just be the place for you. Our little corner of East Sussex is really something special – even if we do say so ourselves.
We can offer the whole of our site for your wedding reception and for the accommodation of some of your guests. Sixteen people can be accommodated in our two bell tents and two cottages-on-wheels, and we offer space for a further 10 two-person tent pitches. Our orchard is the setting for your marquee and we can accommodate receptions for up to 120 guests. We have an excellent little black book of suppliers who we work with to produce some stunning events.
